Town holiday

Monday, May 25, is a Town holiday. Most Town offices will be closed. Please plan for the following service and facility changes:

Trash Collection

Crews will not collect residential trash on Monday, May 25. The makeup day is Wednesday, May 27.
Crews will not collect commercial trash on Monday, May 25. They'll complete collections by the end of the week.

Orange County Recycling Collection

Orange County will not collect curbside recycling on Monday, May 25. Collection will be delayed by one day.
The Orange County Waste and Recycling Centers, Landfill, Solid Waste Administrative Office, and all related services will be closed Monday, May 25.

Chapel Hill Public Library and book drop will be closed Monday, May 25. They will be open May 23 and 24.

Chapel Hill Transit will not operate on Monday, May 25.

Parks and Recreation

Facilities open 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.: Homestead Aquatic Center and Nate Davis, Sr. Gymnasium
Facilities closed: Parks and Recreation administrative offices, Community Center and indoor pool, Hargraves Community Center, and the Corner Teen Center.
A.D. Clark pool opens this weekend.
- On Saturday, May 23, it'll be open 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- On Sunday, May 24, it'll be open 12 - 5 p.m.
- On Monday, May 25, it'll be open 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Public Housing's administrative office on Caldwell St. will be closed on May 25.
