Tips during periods of uncertainty:

  • Buses will travel slowly. Expect delays.
  • Prepare for being at the bus stop -wear proper clothing, carry an umbrella, and use reflective items or lights for low daylight.
  • If there is low to no traffic, or no buses passing by- walk to a stop on a busy street.
  • For stops on hills, walk to the bottom or the top of the hill so that the bus can stop safely without back-sliding.
  • Stand back from the curb and wait for the bus to stop moving before approaching.
  • Your bus may not drive into puddles, snow, or ice at the stop if the Operator believes the bus could get stuck.
  • Inside the bus, floors may be wet and slippery. Be cautious.
