OMG works to create a community where everyone can thrive - by being able to bike, walk, and use public transportation safely, easily, and quickly. We work on short- and long-range plans, manage major projects, seek and receive grant funding, and collaborate with regional partners on plans and projects. Our work is guided by the Mobility Plan. Adopted by the Town Council in 2017, and updated in 2020, the Mobility & Connectivity Plan aims to make bicycling, walking, and transit safe and convenient in Chapel Hill.
