Climbing Wall

Our indoor climbing wall at the Community Center provides a mountain of fun for anyone six years old and older. With over 40 routes to choose from and a bouldering section for solo practice or children without a partner, both beginners and experts can find a challenge!

Hours

Open climbing hours: 

• Sunday, 12 - 2:30 p.m.
• Tuesday and Thursday, 6:30 - 9 p.m.

What to expect at the climbing wall:

• A climbing wall attendant is always present to supervise and help with any questions.
• We have a limited number of harnesses and helmets, so we encourage you to bring your own.
• You can rent specialized climbing shoes for $3.
• All climbers under 18 must have a signed release form from a parent or guardian before using the wall.

Belay Testing
Every year, belayers must pass a test to show they know and can handle equipment, especially the GriGri belay safety device. The minimum age requirement for belayers is 13 years old. There is no fee for those who are entirely belaying and not participating in climbing.
