Town holiday

Friday, July 3, is a Town holiday. Most Town offices will be closed. Some services and facilities will also be impacted on Saturday, July 4.

To watch the show, park at the Rosemary Deck, UNC's RR Lot, or the Eubanks Parks & Ride Lot (all free!) and take a shuttle to Chapel Hill High School.

Trash Collection

There's no change to residential trash collection.
Crews will not collect yard trimmings on Friday, July 3. They'll collect it the following week during the regularly scheduled time.
Crews will not collect commercial trash on Friday, July 3. They'll complete collections earlier in the week.

Orange County Recycling Collection

Orange County will have regular curbside recycling on Friday, July 3.
Orange County Solid Waste Administrative Office will be closed Friday, July 3. The C&D Landfill and Waste & Recycling Centers will be open.
Orange County Waste and Recycling Centers, Landfill, and Solid Waste Administrative Office will be closed Saturday, July 4.

Chapel Hill Public Library and book drop will be closed Saturday, July 4.

Chapel Hill Transit

Transit will operate Sunday service on Friday, July 3. The U and NU won't run, but the 420 will.
Transit won't operate on Saturday, July 4, except for the July 4 drone show shuttles.

Parks and Recreation

Facilities open 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.: A.D. Clark Pool, Community Center, Homestead Aquatic Center, and Nate Davis, Sr. Gymnasium
Facilities closed: Parks and Recreation administrative offices, the Corner Teen Center, and Hargraves Community Center.

Public Housing's administrative office on Caldwell St. will be closed on Friday, July 3.

When
