Town holiday

Friday, June 19, is a Town holiday. Most Town offices will be closed.

Trash Collection

There's no change to residential trash collection.
Crews will not collect yard trimmings on Friday, June 19. They'll collect it the following week during the regularly scheduled time.
Crews will not collect commercial trash on Friday, June 19. They'll complete collections earlier in the week.

Orange County Recycling Collection

Orange County will not collect curbside recycling on Friday, June 19. They'll collect Friday recycling on Saturday, June 20.
The Orange County Waste and Recycling Centers, Landfill, and Solid Waste Administrative Office will be closed Friday, June 19.

Chapel Hill Public Library and book drop will be closed Friday, June 19.

Chapel Hill Transit will operate Sunday service except for the FCX and NS, which will run weekday service.

Parks and Recreation

Facilities open 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.: Homestead Aquatic Center and Community Center. Hargraves and the Nate Davis Sr. Gymnasium will be open, and the Juneteenth celebration will be there from 4 to 8 p.m.
Facilities closed: Parks and Recreation administrative offices and the Corner Teen Center.
A.D. Clark pool will be open 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Public Housing's administrative office on Caldwell St. will be closed on Friday, June 19.
