Town holiday

January 19 is a Town holiday. Most Town offices will be closed. Please plan for the following service and facility changes:

Trash Collection

Crews will not collect residential trash on Monday, January 19. The makeup day is Wednesday, January 21.
Crews will not collect commercial trash on Monday, January 19. They'll complete collections by the end of the week.

Orange County Recycling Collection

Orange County will not collect curbside recycling on Monday, January 19. Collection will be delayed by one day.
The Orange County Waste and Recycling Centers, Landfill, Solid Waste Administrative Office, and all related services will be closed Monday, January 19.

Chapel Hill Public Library will be closed Monday, January 19.

Chapel Hill Transit will operate Sunday schedules on Monday, January 19. EZ Rider will run 8:15 a.m. to 6:52 p.m.

Parks and Recreation

Facilities open 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.: Community Center (pool closed), Homestead Aquatic Center, and Nate Davis, Sr. Gymnasium
Facilities closed: Parks and Recreation administrative offices, Community Center indoor pool, Hargraves Community Center, and the Corner Teen Center.

Public Housing's administrative office on Caldwell St. will be closed on January 19.

When
