Banana Ball Takes Over Chapel Hill This Weekend

The Savannah Bananas are taking Kenan Stadium by storm with two sold-out games this weekend. We’re helping you navigate shuttles, parking, and fun banana-themed specials at local businesses.

Gameday Shuttles

The Tar Heel Express shuttle will run from three different locations to get folks to Kenan Stadium:

  • On Saturday, service starts at 12:30pm
  • On Sunday, service starts at 8:30am

Tar Heel Express service will run throughout the day, during the game, and ends 45 minutes after each game ends.

Downtown Parking

A $20 special event parking rate will begin at 3pm on Saturday and 12pm on Sunday.

This means if you enter any Town deck or most Town lots after those times, the flat rate will apply. If you enter before those times, the flat rate does not apply, and you’ll be charged the regular hourly rate.

We recommend parking at the 125 E. Rosemary Street deck – just steps from Franklin Street and about an 18-minute walk to Kenan Stadium.
