The Public Works and Transit Campus are both Ground source-based systems and for this Project, expertise with this type of system is required.
Questions concerning this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) must be submitted in writing no later than 2:00 P.M. EST on November 2, 2026, to Forrest Heath, Jr., Public Works, via e-mail at fheath@chapelhillnc.gov. Emails should use "Public Works and Transit HVAC System Design" for the subject line.
All responses to submitted questions will be published in the form of an addendum on the Town’s - Current Bids website by 5:00 P.M. on November 6, 2026.
All submittals must be emailed to the Purchasing and Contracts Bids inbox at bids@chapelhillnc.gov. Proposals must be received by 2:00 P.M. EST on November 19, 2026. All submissions must have the subject line – “RFQ # A/E27-003 – Public Works and Transit HVAC System Design – “Company Name"”. Late submissions will not be considered.
