Project Location: 5 Hamilton Rd., near the intersection of NC 54/Raleigh Road and US 15-501/Fordham Boulevard. 

Project Description: Up to 1.4 million sq. ft. of multi-family residential, commercial/retail, office, and hotel. May include up to 1391 residential units.

Zoning: Residential-3 (R-3) and Community Commercial (CC) with a Neighborhood Conservation District Overlay

Project Status: Zoning Compliance, Permitting and Construction 

UPDATE 1/13/26: Additional portions of the Glen Lennox community remain opportunities for redevelopment. Previous Glen Lennox development projects include two large multifamily buildings and an office-building.

Glen Lennox is subject to a Development Agreement between the Town of Chapel Hill and the property owners. The Town Council approved the Glen Lennox Development Agreement in 2014 and the term of the Agreement extends to 2034.
