Your feedback helps shape policies, programs, and services that reflect the needs and priorities of our residents.

The Community Survey provides an opportunity for you, Chapel Hill residents, to share your feedback and insights regarding the services we offer. By participating in this survey, you help ensure that our efforts accurately reflect the community’s needs and expectations. The survey asks key questions to measure satisfaction levels and identify areas of improvement, enabling us to better address the opportunities and challenges that Chapel Hill faces.

A randomly selected number of Chapel Hill residents will receive the survey by mail. We encourage all Chapel Hill residents to visit TownofChapelHillSurvey.org and complete the survey within the next two weeks. Your responses will remain anonymous and confidential.

Survey Confidentiality

All address information will remain confidential and won't be disclosed in any reports provided to the Town. ETC Institute, the survey vendor, uses address data solely to verify that respondents reside within the survey boundaries and are part of the random sample. For reporting purposes, any geographic analysis, such as GIS mapping, is aggregated to the block level to ensure individual households cannot be identified. In addition, all open-ended responses are carefully reviewed and screened to remove any potentially identifying information prior to inclusion in the final report.
