How to Read Route Maps and Schedules

Find Your Route

  • Look at the route name or letter on the map (for example, "A Route").
  • Determine which direction you need to go: eastbound or westbound.
  • Make sure you're looking at the schedule for the correct day type: weekday or weekend.

Locate Your Stop

  • Numbered symbols represent bus stops on the map.
  • Find the stop closest to your starting point.

Understand Timepoints

  • Time points are columns of times under stop names on the timetable.
  • They show when the bus is scheduled to leave that stops.
  • Timepoints are also on the route map.

What to Do if Your Stop Isn't Listed

  • Sometimes your stop will be between two timepoints.
  • In that case, the bus will arrive between the two listed times.
  • For example, if your stop is between Stop A (8:00 a.m.) and Stop B (8:10 a.m.), the bus will likely arrive around 8:05 a.m.
