Parking Lot Improvements

June 2026 Update

Starting the week of June 8, contractors will be on site to pave the current gravel and dirt areas in phases. We expect them to be done the first week of July, weather permitting. At least two-thirds of the lot will be open at all times to minimize the impact on parking. 

Cedar Falls Park Tennis Court Reconstruction Project

June 2026 Update

The project is substantially complete, and we look forward to opening the Cedar Falls Park tennis courts this summer. The court surface coatings are complete (courts will be striped for tennis play only), the plaza and bleachers are onsite for completion. The path lighting as well as the new sustainable LED lighting for the courts is complete.  We've experienced recent delays with relocating underground electrical lines and are working diligently with Duke Energy to wrap this up. Once the electrical lines are relocated, final steps are to complete the installation of the American Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant sidewalk and landscaping.
