CARE Team Extending Operating Hours Starting April 6

The partnership between Orange County and the towns of Chapel Hill and Carrboro is extending its operating hours to Monday-Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Community Center Closed for HVAC Upgrades

As of Monday, March 23, the Chapel Hill Community Center is closed while crews replace the facility’s heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. The Town expects the Community Center to reopen in May.

Volunteer Workday in Pritchard Park

Grab your gloves and pitch in to improve Pritchard Park’s ecosystem. We'll remove non-native and invasive species, plant native trees and perennials, and maintain natural areas in the park. Dress for working outdoors and wear close-toed shoes appropriate for walking on uneven terrain.

Food Distribution

The Town of Chapel Hill Food Distribution provides fresh fruits and vegetables and non-perishable food items to support community members. There are no income, residency, or ID requirements.
